(1) 1/4 c butter, rm temp (6) Pinch of salt
(2) 3/4 c packed brown sugar (7) 1-1/2 c all purpose flour
(3) 1 egg (8) 1/2 tsp baking soda
(4) 1 tsp vanilla extract (9) 1/2 c chopped walnuts
(5) 1 tblsp granted orange peel (10) 3/4 c chopped fresh or
thawed frozen cranberries
Preheat oven to 375 F. Grease baking sheets. In a medium bowl, beat together 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, & 6 until light and fluffy. Add 7 & 4 beating together until well blended. Stir in walnuts. Carefully fold in cranberries. Drop by rounded tspfuls, 2’’ apart, on greased baking sheets. Bake 10-12 min or until golden. Remove; cool on racks (Makes about 48).
